I emailed P.W., who is a friend of my intern's mother. She went through the same thing I have been going through last summer. I would have never found Dr. Beal without her. I would be attempting to control it with the Elepy's maneuver, which has no effect on the imbalance of salt and potassium in my left ear. I would continue to have vertigo attacks, which would be unbearable. I let her know the good news. It turns out she has the same thing. Hers started in July 2011 and with Dr. Beal's help she is almost off the pills and back to normal. I cannot wait to be there. I owe her my sanity.

I went to Costco and picked up my prescriptions. I will wait until tomorrow to start taking them. I have already started to eliminate my salt intake. I am on the road to recovery, after three months of a nightmare.
