April 10-11, 2012

It is 4:40 pm and I am attempting to post to my Leadership discussion board, on the computer. The janitor comes in and starts to vacuum. I notice that the vacuum is extremely loud and plug my ears. By the time he is done vacuuming, my eyes are not tracking. All of my meds are in my car, in the parking lot, and I am unable to walk. I break out into a cold sweat and start vomiting. By 4:50, I am into the dry heaves and can not stop. I try lying flat on the floor, but have to sit up to dry heave a bubbly mucus because I have nothing in my stomach. Somewhere around 5:30 I call my daughter and ask her to walk back to school, get my meds out of my car, and bring them to me. She gets here about 6 pm. I take my meds, lay my head down and wait for things to settle. Things never did "settle". It took half an hour and I was able to stand up and slowly walk, but my head was still very out of sorts. I got to my car and I was freezing so bad my hands were shaking. I very carefully drove home and went straight to bed. Had to cover my eyes because the light hurt them. I slept from 7 pm to midnight. I got up took my diuretic and a couple of Tylenol for my splitting headache. Fell back to sleep and slept until 6 am. I called in sick at work. After driving my daughter to school, I ate something, so I could take my diuretic and potassium. The potassium requires that I sit up for at least 10 minutes. I waited an half an hour and went back to bed and slept until 1:30 pm. Every time I stand up my head spins, not severely, but I'm not tracking. Ate some lunch and rested, not slept, my head is out-of-sorts. At 4 pm, I joined my class on line and, except for a short time, was able to finish it. I ate some dinner and went back to bed, at 8 pm and slept until 6 am.

April 12--I am at work. My head is still out-of-sorts. Every now and then I feel like I may vomit. No staying after work today. I'm going home to work.
